With the end of its shank angled, this ball mount inserts into the receiver tube of your trailer hitch much easier than a standard ball mount to get you hitched up and on your way faster. Comparable to our class 3 ball mounts, this CURT right angle ball mount features a 2" x 2" shank. It can be used in the drop position to provide a drop of 6", a gross trailer weight capacity of 7,500 lbs. and a tongue weight capacity of 750 lbs. It can also be flipped to provide a rise of 4", a gross trailer weight capacity of 6,000 lbs. and a tongue weight capacity of 600 lbs. It features a length of 12 1/4" and is an excellent choice for towing most utility trailers, boat trailers, campers, livestock trailers and several types of recreational vehicle trailers, such as personal watercraft and ATV haulers (NOTE: Never exceed the lowest weight capacity of any towing component; i.e. the vehicle, hitch, trailer, etc).The most common use for our right angle ball mounts is with our class 3 trailer hitches on full-size trucks and SUVs.
